The E3D Piping Designer position falls under the Engineering/Design department and reports to the Lead Piping Designer/Engineering Manager. As an E3D Piping Designer, your primary responsibility involves creating 3D models and designs of piping systems utilizing AVEVA E3D software. This role encompasses developing detailed layouts, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines. Your role demands a strong proficiency in piping design, familiarity with industry standards, and the capability to manage design tasks within specified timelines. Your key responsibilities as an E3D Piping Designer include: - Developing and modeling piping systems using AVEVA E3D software. - Generating isometric drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and other essential documentation. - Verifying that designs align with project specifications and standards. - Coordinating with other design disciplines to achieve integrated design solutions. - Working closely with the project team to ensure design alignment with project objectives. - Ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards like ASME, ANSI, and ISO. - Adhering to safety regulations and best practices in piping system design. - Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including installation and commissioning phases. - Assisting in troubleshooting and modifications during construction. - Creating and maintaining detailed design documentation, including material take-offs (MTO). - Participating in design reviews and resolving issues arising from interdisciplinary reviews. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: 2-10 years of experience as a piping designer with expertise in E3D software. Required Skills: - Proficiency in AVEVA E3D and associated tools. - Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and stress analysis. - Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ISO. - Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. - Capability to work both independently and within a team, managing assigned tasks effectively. Certifications (optional): - Relevant certifications in piping design or E3D software. Work Environment: - Office-based role with occasional client visits. - Collaborative team environment involving multiple disciplines. - Potential requirement for overtime during peak project phases. Other Requirements: - Willingness to stay informed about industry trends and software advancements. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.,
