Role & responsibilities Oversee daily farm operations to ensure optimal crop health and yield. Analyze soil and plant health, recommending treatments for improved growth. Supervise and train farm laborers on best practices and safety protocols. Track crop data and weather conditions to optimize farm performance. Ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainable farming practices. Required skills: Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, crop management, and farm management Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Proficiency in record-keeping and basic computer skills Effective communication skills in Hindi and English Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field preferred Diploma holders with significant experience considered 5 years of experience in farm management Horticulturist experience is preferred Experience in managing fertigation systems and pest control preferred Familiarity with terms and practices used in disease control such as integrated pest management (IPM), crop rotation, biological control, and chemical treatments
