Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Source, screen, and recruit qualified staff for all departments (Kitchen, Service, Store, Accounts, Sales, and FMCG operations). Develop a standardized hiring process — skill tests, trial shifts, background checks, and reference verification. Build a strong database of reliable hospitality & FMCG industry candidates. Coordinate with department heads to forecast manpower requirements in advance. --- 2. Onboarding & Training Prepare job descriptions and induction manuals for every role. Conduct structured onboarding and orientation programs for new hires. Organize skill-based and behavioral training sessions every month (in coordination with the Restaurant Manager and Production Head). Create and maintain a training calendar for all departments. --- 3. Performance Management Define KPI-based evaluation systems for all roles. Conduct monthly performance reviews with department heads and report directly to the Owner. Identify underperformers early and plan improvement programs or replacements. Maintain staff productivity, attendance, and punctuality logs. --- 4. Employee Relations & Retention Act as a bridge between management and staff — ensuring communication flows clearly and respectfully. Conduct one-on-one sessions with staff to understand concerns and reduce attrition. Create staff motivation programs — rewards, recognition, and events. Maintain discipline while ensuring a positive and respectful workplace culture. --- 5. HR Administration & Compliance Manage attendance, leave records, salary sheets, and statutory compliances (PF/ESIC, etc.). Coordinate with the accountant for payroll, incentives, and HR-related expenses. Maintain and update employee files and HRMIS data accurately. --- 6. Cross-Company Coordination Support both Restaurant and FMCG business units with manpower needs and performance reporting. Liaise between departments (Kitchen, Store, Accounts, Sales, and Production) to ensure smooth daily operations. Support management with organizational structure planning as the company grows. --- Key Skills & Competencies Proven experience in hospitality or FMCG hiring (minimum 3–5 years). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership with ability to enforce discipline and motivate teams. Knowledge of HR laws, payroll, and performance appraisal systems. High ownership mindset — able to work independently and deliver measurable results. Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets / HR software tools. --- KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) 1. Recruitment Quality – 90% hires meeting role performance standards within 30 days. 2. Attrition Rate – Maintain below 10% per quarter. 3. Training Completion – 100% new hires complete onboarding within 7 days. 4. Performance Review Compliance – Monthly reports submitted on time. 5.
