Analyst – Power & Renewables Consulting (Contract, Remote) We’re looking for a passionate and analytical Analyst to support our Power & Renewables Consulting practice at Genesis Ray Energy . This is a 6-month remote contract , with potential for extension or transition to a permanent role. What You’ll Do Conduct independent research on renewable energy technologies, markets, and regulatory frameworks. Support feasibility studies, market assessments, and strategic advisory projects. Analyze technical and commercial data to generate actionable insights. Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and models in collaboration with senior consultants. Track global trends in solar, wind, green hydrogen, and other emerging technologies. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in energy, engineering, economics, or a related discipline. 1–3 years of experience in power and renewables industry research or consulting. Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project development cycles, and policy/regulatory environments. Awareness of industry challenges such as intermittency, grid integration, financing hurdles, and evolving carbon markets. Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to effectively use AI tools for research synthesis, data analysis, and presentation development.
