General Trade Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Drive primary and secondary sales growth across the assigned territory.
• Appoint, manage, and strengthen relationships with distributors and retail partners.
• Expand General Trade presence by onboarding new outlets and improving product reach and availability.
• Implement merchandising, in-store visibility, and promotional activities across retail outlets.
• Manage Modern Trade accounts by ensuring adequate stock, proper product displays, and strong account relationships.
• Conduct regular market visits to track sales performance, competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop initiatives to maximize territory growth.
• Work closely with Beauty Advisors and Promoters to enhance product awareness and improve retail sell-out.
• Maintain accurate daily sales reports and consistently work towards achieving monthly sales targets.

Preferred Candidate

• 2 – 10 years of relevant sales experience in skincare, cosmetics, personal care, OTC, or related FMCG categories.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in General Trade; experience with Modern Trade will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in distributor handling, retail expansion, territory management, and secondary sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in identifying business opportunities.
• Comfortable with extensive market travel and regular field visits.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
