Cloud Platform Engineer - GCPPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to support the design, implementation, andongoing management of enterprise cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform(GCP). This is an infrastructure-focused role supporting cloud platform services,networking, and automation—not application development. The ideal candidate will havestrong experience building scalable cloud environments, automating infrastructuredeployments, and supporting enterprise cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform(GCP 2.0).• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.• Build and support CI/CD infrastructure using GitLab.• Implement and maintain cloud networking solutions, connectivity, and securityconfigurations.• Support cloud platform services and enterprise cloud operations.• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and platform engineering teams todeliver scalable cloud solutions.• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, networking, and platform-relatedissues.• Support integrations and cloud connectivity for enterprise systems, including SAPenvironments when applicable.• Follow cloud governance, security, and operational best practices.
Required Qualifications• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).• Strong experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.• Experience with GitLab, including CI/CD pipelines and repository management.• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and platform services.• Experience automating infrastructure deployment and management.• Knowledge of enterprise cloud operations and cloud architecture best practices.• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience with Aviatrix cloud networking solutions (highly preferred).• Experience supporting SAP cloud connectivity or enterprise applicationnetworking.• Experience working in large enterprise cloud environments.• Familiarity with cloud security, governance, and networking best practices.
