Job Title: Press Shop Engineer Department: Production / Manufacturing Location: Greater Noida Experience: 4 to 6 years Qualification: Diploma / BE / BTech Mechanical Engineering Job Description: We are looking for a Press Shop Engineer responsible for the production of sheet metal components using mechanical and hydraulic presses. The role involves managing daily production activities, ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and effective utilization of manpower and machines. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute daily production activities in the press shop Operate and monitor mechanical / hydraulic presses for sheet metal components Ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules Set up press tools, dies, and fixtures as per production requirements Coordinate with tool room for die maintenance and troubleshooting Monitor first-off approvals, in-process quality checks, and rejection control Implement safety practices and ensure compliance with EHS norms Optimize productivity through cycle time improvement and scrap reduction Maintain production records, downtime reports, and shift documentation Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and Planning teams Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of press shop operations and sheet metal forming Experience in mechanical presses, hydraulic presses, and power presses Understanding of press tools, dies, and preventive maintenance Knowledge of ISO / IATF systems and shop floor discipline ERP Knowledge/ MS Excel/ Power Point Preferred Industry Experience: Automotive / Auto-Ancillary / Sheet Metal Manufacturing
