What You'll Do Lead development & scaling of our cross-platform mobile app Architect scalable APIs, AI/ML integrations, and real-time feedback pipelines Manage and mentor a lean, high-performance team Own full-stack infrastructure (Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, AWS stack) Implement horizontal and vertical scalability strategies as users grow Ensure code quality, optimization, and system design best practices Collaborate on product features and experiment weekly Must-Have Skills 5+ years of hands-on software development Strong in Node.js, React/React Native, MongoDB AWS DevOps with CloudFormation, RDS, ElastiCache, Elastic Beanstalk CI/CD: GitHub Actions or equivalent Experience with Redis, Socket.io, Push Notifications (Firebase) Strong grasp of System Design, code reviews, and concurrent user scaling Bonus Points Tier A College Engineering background Experience with pose estimation (Mediapipe, TensorFlow.js, OpenCV) Integration with wearables (HealthKit, Fitbit, etc.) Prior startup or 0→1 product-building experience Built or scaled social/fitness/gaming products Tech Stack Frontend: React.js / React Native Backend: Node.js / Express.js Database: MongoDB, Redis Cloud: AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFormation) ML/CV: TensorFlow.js, Mediapipe, OpenCV DevOps: CI/CD, GitHub Actions API: Stripe, Firebase, Apple HealthKit, Fitbit This is a founding engineer role — you’ll shape the future of the product and the company.
