As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our organization based in Chennai, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and spearheading strategic financial initiatives. With over 20 years of experience in financial leadership, risk management, and stakeholder communication, you will guide the company towards sustained profitability and growth. Your key responsibilities will include driving the financial strategy, planning, and forecasting, partnering with the CEO and executive team on long-term business planning, and contributing to strategic decision-making at the board level. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports to both internal and external stakeholders. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights will be crucial in your role. Managing cash flow, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and identifying financial and operational risks will also be part of your responsibilities. Compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards, as well as overseeing internal controls and risk management frameworks, will be essential. Building and mentoring a high-performing finance team, driving automation and digital transformation across finance functions, and enhancing financial systems and processes for scalability and efficiency will be key aspects of your leadership. The ideal candidate will have a CA/CPA/MBA Finance or equivalent advanced degree, a minimum of 20 years of progressive financial leadership experience, and a strong understanding of corporate finance, investor relations, taxation, and compliance. Experience in leading IPOs, M&A, and capital raising is preferred, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. As a strategic thinker with an eye for detail, a hands-on leader with strong execution capabilities, and high ethical standards and integrity, you will be a valuable addition to our team.
