ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a passionate and proactive Energy Analyst to join our expanding Energy Engineering team in Hyderabad. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to hands-on live projects and being encouraged and supported to develop your career in the Energy & Sustainability sector. RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Energy Analyst, you’ll be responsible for: • Compiling, extracting, and analyzing data sheets, architectural and MEP drawings, local and international regulatory requirements, and relevant standards such as ASHRAE 90.1. • Perform whole building energy modeling and analysis by utilizing the ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G framework • Develop eQuest building geometry from plans, which may be available in various formats like AutoCAD, PDFs, Images, etc. • Creating worksheets and updating activities with the progress of projects. • Performing CAD Zoning and developing trace drawings for creating eQuest Models • Creating an eQuest energy model and creating different HVAC, Hot Water Systems, Building Envelope, and Lighting systems based on the project • To perform energy simulations to compare the Proposed Model with the Baseline Model. • Calibration/Tuning eQuest models to achieve and calculate savings. • Updating spreadsheet documentation that supports the eQuest modeling process and preparing technical reports from the results • Generating energy simulation reports and updating the project tracker. • Collaborating with team members and reporting to the line manager as directed. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil. • 1-2 years of experience in Energy Modeling • CEM, CEA, and Green Building Certification (LEED, IGBC, and EDGE) will be a plus • Clear and confident communication skills. • Advanced skills in AutoCAD • Knowledge of HVAC systems, Building Controls & Energy Efficiency. • Knowledge of ASHRAE standards
