Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and help build robust, scalable web applications using an AI-first development approach. The ideal candidate is comfortable leveraging AI code generation tools, particularly Claude’s coding tools, to accelerate development across the entire stack, from intuitive user interfaces to APIs and database architecture. You’ll bring strong hands-on expertise in React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS, along with sharp prompt engineering skills and the ability to independently break down complex product requirements into clean, well-architected solutions.
Responsibilities
- AI-First Full Stack Development: Use AI code generation tools (especially Claude’s coding tools) to design, build, and ship frontend interfaces, backend services, and APIs, starting from detailed, well-structured prompts
- Prompt Engineering: Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques and strong written English to precisely define requirements and generate high-quality, production-ready code across frontend and backend
- Frontend Development: Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React (or Next.js), HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Core Backend Engineering: Build and maintain performant, secure backend services using Node.js and Python
- Database Architecture: Design efficient, scalable schemas and queries in PostgreSQL, with attention to indexing, optimization, and data integrity
- API Design & Integration: Architect clean, well-documented RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs and integrate them seamlessly with frontend applications
- UI/UX Implementation: Translate designs and wireframes (Figma or similar) into pixel-accurate, user-friendly interfaces, collaborating closely with designers and product teams
- State Management & Performance: Manage application state effectively and optimize frontend performance, including load times, rendering, and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Authentication & Security: Implement secure authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, session management) and follow best practices to protect against common vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection)
- Cloud Deployment & Monitoring: Deploy, manage, and monitor applications and infrastructure on AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudFront), ensuring high availability and reliability
- Testing & CI/CD: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for smooth, automated releases
- Problem Decomposition: Break down complex product and system-design problems into clear components, and translate them into effective prompts for AI-assisted code generation
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear documentation of AI-generated code, architectural decisions, and system design; communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Research & Innovation: Stay current with advancements in AI-assisted coding, prompt engineering, frontend and backend frameworks, and AWS services

Core Technical Skills
- React / Next.js: Building modern, component-based user interfaces
- JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3: Strong fundamentals, including responsive design (Tailwind CSS or similar)
- Node.js: Building and maintaining backend services and APIs
- Python: Backend services, scripting, and automation
- PostgreSQL: Schema design, query optimization, and indexing
- AWS: Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, S3, RDS and related services
- Designing clean, well-documented RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs and consuming them on the frontend
- Version control with Git and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code reviews)
- Architecting scalable, secure, and reliable full stack systems
AI-First Development Skills
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience building real applications using AI code generation tools, especially Claude’s coding tools
- Advanced prompt engineering for generating production-ready frontend and backend code
- Ability to break down complex problems into clear components and translate them into effective AI prompts
Professional & Soft Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Clear documentation of code, architecture, and design decisions
- Attention to detail and ownership of end-to-end delivery, from UI to deployment

Good to Have
- AWS certification
- Exposure to GCP or Azure
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and design tools like Figma
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 yrs) or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3–8 years of progressive experience in full stack development, with strong hands-on expertise in React, Node.js, and Python
- An “AI-first” mindset toward software development, with an understanding of how to effectively integrate AI tools into the engineering workflow
