As a VLSI and Hardware Product Architect at Wipro, your role revolves around designing and architecting VLSI and hardware-based products, ensuring exceptional client engagement and satisfaction. Your responsibilities include defining product requirements, implementing VLSI and hardware devices, updating design tools, conducting cost-benefit analysis, and developing architectural designs for new and existing products. You will be expected to evangelize architecture to project and customer teams, analyze market-driven business needs, define architecture requirements and strategy, and create product-wide architectural designs that are scalable and reliable. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to provide solutions for RFPs, reconcile solutions to architecture, and validate prototypes from a technology and cost perspective. Moreover, your role will involve providing technical leadership, defining target state solutions, proposing investment roadmaps, and identifying problem areas to offer relevant solutions. You will also be responsible for supporting the delivery team during product deployment, developing validation and performance testing plans, and maintaining the product roadmap based on market needs. In terms of competency building and branding, you will need to ensure the completion of necessary trainings and certifications, develop Proof of Concepts (POCs), case studies, and present Wipro's point of view on product design and architecture. Furthermore, you will mentor developers, designers, and junior architects, contribute to the architecture practice, and exhibit thought leadership through various platforms. Your performance will be evaluated based on product design, engineering, and implementation metrics like CSAT, quality of design/architecture, delivery adherence, and capability development indicators such as completion of trainings, mentorship, and thought leadership content creation.
