Front-end Engineer/Web Developer

As a Web Developer, your primary responsibilities will include: - Building, designing, and coding new features and enhancements for Web Applications. - Ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for web applications. - Participating in software architecture, design discussions, and code reviews. - Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability. - Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency. - Demonstrating end-to-end ownership for UI features, including estimation and coordination with UX, product, and backend teams. Qualifications required for this role: - BE/B Tech from a 4-year college or university. - Strong problem-solving skills, data structures knowledge, and algorithm design. - Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and Responsive Web Design. - Proficient understanding of JavaScript and its concepts like hoisting, closures, promises, etc. - 2+ years of experience in developing web applications using at least one JS Framework: Angular / ReactJS / Vue.js. - Experience with browser APIs, cross-browser compatibility, and optimizing front-end performance. - Passion for writing maintainable & reusable code with an understanding of OOP and design patterns. - Familiarity with GIT version control. - Familiarity with the latest ES6 syntax and new developments in the Javascript community. - Experience in production troubleshooting, debugging, and familiarity with Dev Tools (Chrome / Mozilla Dev Tools). - Ability to deliver code quickly in a fast-paced startup environment. - Good working knowledge of DB - MySQL or PostgreSQL is a plus. - Added advantage if you have experience with GitHub, Sketch, and AWS.
