Role & responsibilities Role is to deliver accurate and consistent technical documents including parts lists, manuals, bulletins, and installation guides using structured DITA XML, ensuring long-term maintainability and compliance with client standards Input & Pre-Processing Collect inputs from the client. Retrieve drawings and exploded views from Autodesk Vault . Use Excel tool to generate part number XML codes. Organize and validate input files for documentation . Content Development Use existing DITA templates in XDocs and Oxygen. Create/update: PN Keys Parts Book Data Maps Topic files (Concept, Task, Reference) Warehouse Part Files DITA Maps for structuring publications Document Types Parts Pages: Exploded views with hyperlinked callouts. Parts Lists: Auto-generated tables of part data. Service Manuals: Maintenance, troubleshooting, illustrated procedures. Technical Bulletins: Service updates and product notices. Installation Procedures: Step-by-step guides with safety info. Related Docs: Quick guides, compliance sheets, etc. . Review & QA Validate XML structure and content in Oxygen. Run builds in XDocs for PDF/HTML output. Internal reviews for accuracy and formatting. Version control via XDocs and Vault. 5. Output Generation Generate final deliverables in: PDF: Print-ready HTML5: Interactive and web-ready Deliver via client platform or ZIP packages. 6. Repository & Versioning Maintain versioned content in XDocs. Sync changes with Autodesk Vault for data alignment. Preferred candidate profile Preferred candidate would have good experience around technical publication with experience on XML as well
Role & responsibilities Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Creo). 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development Strong knowledge of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering. Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, and DFMEA assessments Background in sheet metal, plastics, or electromechanical systems Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASME, ISO, CE, UL) is desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred candidate profile Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD Good understanding of GD&T , DFM/DFA , and tolerance analysis . Familiarity with engineering documentation , including 2D drawings, BOMs, and change management. Experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter) is desirable
