What you’ll do Lead and grow a team of data engineers working across ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and ML-enablement Own team delivery across sprints, including planning, prioritization, QA, and stakeholder communication Set and enforce strong engineering practices around code reviews, testing, observability, and documentation Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, BI, Revenue Operations, and business stakeholders in Marketing and Sales Guide technical architecture decisions for our pipelines on GCP (BigQuery, GCS, Composer) Model and transform data using dbt and SQL, supporting reporting, attribution, and optimization needs Ensure data security, compliance, and scalability — especially around first-party customer data Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical roadmap discussions What You Bring 6+ years of experience in data engineering, including 2+ years of people management or formal team leadership Strong technical background with Python, Spark, Kafka, and orchestration tools like Airflow Deep experience working in GCP, especially BigQuery, GCS, and Composer Strong SQL skills and familiarity with DBT for modeling and documentation Clear understanding of data privacy and governance, including how to safely manage and segment first-party data Experience working in agile environments, including sprint planning and ticket scoping Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally across global teams. Role Overview As a Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in revenue reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, and streamlining processes to support the organisations overall financial health. You will ensure accuracy, reconcile data from multiple sources, and produce transparent reports that provide leadership with clear insights into each teams contribution. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to generate reports that drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive and accurate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports summarising performance, including revenue by channel. Access affiliate program dashboards to extract relevant data such as clicks, conversions, commissions, and other key performance indicators. Manage and maintain financial records, ledgers, and accounts in accordance with established accounting standards. Reconcile revenue data with invoices, affiliate dashboards, and internal records; resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy. Prepare and post revenue-related journals in NetSuite. Assist in creating financial reports for management, providing insights into the companys performance and presenting actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making. Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls; collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and best practices. Assist in internal and external audits by providing financial documentation, explanations, and support as needed. Collaborate with colleagues across finance, operations, and other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure reporting accuracy. Support the business with revenue-related items as required. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA/CA/CPA preferred). Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting and finance roles, with a strong understanding of double-entry accounting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively. Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, with the ability to translate complex data into a clear business context. Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and data reconciliation. Experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau) is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative mindset to drive process improvements. Strong understanding of revenue models in affiliate marketing.
