Fmcg Sales Executive ( Pulses and staples)

Job Title:

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Sales Executive to drive sales and expand our market presence in the FMCG sector, particularly in pulses, dals, and other food staples. The candidate will be responsible for developing distributor and retailer networks, generating new business, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, and Kirana stores.
• Promote and sell pulses, dals, and other FMCG products in the assigned territory.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct regular market visits to generate orders and monitor product availability.
• Appoint new distributors and expand the distribution network.
• Ensure product visibility, shelf placement, and brand promotion at retail outlets.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
• Follow up on payments and outstanding dues from customers.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely product delivery.
• Prepare daily sales reports, market visit reports, and customer feedback.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10th , 12th Pass, Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in pulses, rice, atta, or other food staples.
• Experience in general trade, distributor handling, and retail sales.
• Good communication, negotiation, and convincing skills.
• Ability to achieve sales targets and develop new markets.
• Knowledge of the local market and retailer network.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and Out station If required.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and sales reporting.
• Basic knowledge of Hindi and/or English will be an added advantage.

• Must be fluent in the local/regional language of the assigned territory.( Eg: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam,Hindi.)

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Candidates with experience in dal mills, pulses , packaged food products, FMCG distribution, or staples sales will be preferred.

Candidates with own Vehicle preferred.
