Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Flutter Full Stack role responsible for building and maintaining Hoplid’s social dining web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
Feature Development:
Build front-end features in Flutter and integrate them with back-end services and APIs to ensure responsive, high-quality user experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with product and design teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation.
Performance & Scalability:
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement scalable solutions to support new social and discovery features.
Engineering Standards:
Maintain a strong focus on clean, maintainable code and practice proactive communication within a distributed, remote team environment.
Qualifications
Flutter & Mobile:
Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, including hands-on experience building cross-platform mobile applications.
Back-End & Data:
Experience with back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar), designing/consuming RESTful APIs, and integrating databases (SQL or NoSQL).
Front-End Fundamentals:
Solid knowledge of responsive UI design, modern state management, and working with design systems.
DevOps & Cloud:
Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (including deployment pipelines, version control, CI/CD, and monitoring tools).
Engineering Best Practices:
Clear understanding of software engineering best practices, including automated testing, debugging, performance optimization, and secure coding.
Collaboration & Communication:
Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment with clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience building consumer-facing or social applications is a plus.
An interest in food, dining, or social platforms is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
