The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing robust, cost-effective, and safe mounting structures for solar power plants, both residential and commercial. Key Responsibilities : Design structural layouts and mounting systems for solar PV installations (rooftop). Create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and structural analysis reports. Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to integrate structural designs with overall system layout. Ensure compliance with relevant codes such as IS, ASCE, NBC, and industry best practices. Use tools like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SketchUp, PVsyst, and SolidWorks for design and simulation. Analyze wind and load factors, and ensure structural stability based on site conditions. Perform site visits for survey, assessment, and installation feasibility studies. Liaise with vendors, fabricators, and clients for technical clarifications. Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering. 2+ years of experience in structure design for solar PV systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD and STAAD Pro (essential). Knowledge of PV design tools (PVsyst, Helioscope, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with steel, aluminum, and RCC mounting structures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have: Certification in solar design or structural engineering. Experience in MW-scale solar projects. Knowledge of BIM or 3D modeling. The ideal candidate will be passionate about clean energy, skilled in B2B/B2C sales, and capable of providing customized solar solutions based on site assessments and customer needs. Key Responsibilities : Identify and generate leads for residential homes, commercial buildings, and institutions. Conduct client meetings, site visits, and energy assessments. Present solar solutions, including technical, financial, and environmental benefits. Prepare and share customized proposals, quotations, and ROI reports. Negotiate pricing and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure smooth execution of projects. Maintain relationships with clients for referrals, repeat business, and AMC upsells. Meet monthly sales targets and submit reports to the sales head. Stay updated on MNRE policies, state subsidies, DISCOM net metering norms, etc. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
