Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Flow Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility) Company Stage: Early-stage startup About Flow: Flow is building the future of daily commuting in India. Our first product is a subscription-based cab sharing service — giving users affordable, comfortable, and reliable daily rides. We’re solving a real problem at scale: how India moves every day. Your Role: As CTO, you’ll be the tech co-founder leading product development and scaling. You’ll design, build, and optimize our platform, working hands-on at first, then leading a growing engineering team. This role is high-risk, high-reward — perfect for someone who thrives in building from scratch and dreams of creating large-scale impact. Responsibilities: Architect and develop backend + frontend systems. Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient deployment. Integrate payments, live tracking, and real-time updates. Collaborate with founders on rapid iterations and feature rollouts. Build and manage deployment pipelines for continuous delivery. Our Tech Stack: Backend: Java / Node.js Frontend: Flutter (cross-platform mobile apps) Database: MySQL Caching: Redis Maps & Routing: Google Maps API / Mapbox Real-time updates: WebSockets (live tracking & notifications) Payments: Razorpay / Stripe DevOps: Understanding of deployment pipelines (CI/CD, cloud hosting) Who We’re Looking For: Experience: 1–3 years in full-stack or backend-heavy roles (more experienced candidates are also welcome). Proven ability to work independently and take ownership. Strong problem-solving and startup mindset. Bonus: Prior experience in mobility, logistics, or consumer tech apps.
