Job Summary: The Sales Executive/Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships within the solar industry. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solar solutions. The Sales Executive/Sales Manager ensures the entire sales process from initial contact through project completion is managed efficiently, focusing on achieving sales targets, customer satisfaction, and smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities: Initiate contact with potential clients. Schedule and organize meetings to understand client requirements and present solar solutions. Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to discuss their needs and explain solar solutions. Validate initial documents submitted by the client to ensure they meet company requirements. Perform preliminary site surveys to assess suitability for solar installation. Collaborate with the design team to prepare initial solar system designs based on site survey data. Prepare a Bill of Materials (BOM) for commercial projects, excluding residential projects. Generate quotations based on the BOM and other project requirements. Submit detailed quotations to clients and address any queries. Follow up with clients to secure orders and address any concerns or additional requirements. Collect and validate all necessary documents from clients for project processing. Collect advance payments as per the terms agreed upon with the client. Ensure the client signs the order confirmation form and collects it. Collect and file all signed annexures related to the project. Obtain and file signed terms and conditions forms from the client. Create Customer Orders (CO) and Sales Orders (SO) in the Octabees system. Enter payment details into the Octabees system and hand over payment receipts to the accounts department. Create and manage project details in the Octabees system. Submit and maintain accurate customer files for each project. Ensure customers complete physical and Google reviews to gather feedback and improve services. Key Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in CRM and project management systems (e.g., Octabees). Knowledge of solar industry standards and products. Ability to perform site surveys and collaborate with design teams. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficient in document management and validation. Strong follow-up and negotiation skills. Attention to detail in preparing quotations and managing client documentation.
