PositionOverview: We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead thedesign, implementation, and management of advanced cloud infrastructuresolutions on the Azure platform. This role requires a strong background incloud architecture, Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, andnetworking. The ideal candidate will be an expert in designing scalable,secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments and will work closely withdevelopment, security, and operations teams to implement best practices for cloud-basedsolutions. Requirements KeyResponsibilities: Cloud Architecture Design : Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-availability, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Architect and implement Azure cloud environments using Terraform and Azure Bicep to define infrastructure, ensuring automation and scalability through CI/CD pipelines. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) : Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with advanced networking and hybrid connectivity features, including ExpressRoute , VNET Peering , and Private Link . Application Lifecycle Management : Develop and manage Helm Charts for efficient deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Kubernetes applications in the cloud. Networking Security Architecture : Design and implement advanced Azure networking solutions, including Application Gateway , WAF , ExpressRoute , and secure hybrid connections to on-premise infrastructure. Multi-Cloud Integration : Design and implement multi-cloud strategies that integrate AWS services with Azure for a robust and flexible cloud infrastructure. CI/CD Automation : Architect and implement automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps , GitHub Actions , or Jenkins to manage infrastructure and application deployments with Terraform . Cost Management Optimization : Develop strategies for optimizing cloud costs, utilizing tools like Azure Cost Management and FinOps to ensure efficient cloud financial governance. Security Best Practices : Ensure the application of Zero Trust Architecture , Azure Security Center , and Azure Policy to guarantee the highest security standards. Cloud Monitoring Troubleshooting : Lead the monitoring and optimization of cloud environments, using Azure Monitor , Prometheus , Grafana , and Log Analytics for performance, scalability, and security. Compliance Standards : Ensure compliance with industry security and operational standards such as CIS , NIST , and ISO 27001 while integrating best practices in cloud governance. Kubernetes (AKS) with Advanced Networking: Experience in designing AKS clusters with private networking, hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN), and security best practices. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure Bicep): Deep understanding of defining and maintaining cloud infrastructure through code. Helm Charts: Strong expertise in creating, deploying, and managing Helm-based Kubernetes application deployments. Leadership Collaboration : Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the architecture meets business requirements and integrates seamlessly with existing systems. KeySkills Required: Azure Cloud Architecture : Expertise in designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure, with a focus on high availability, scalability, and security. Terraform Infrastructure Automation : Advanced knowledge of Terraform for Azure and Azure Bicep to define and manage infrastructure in code. Kubernetes (AKS) : Expertise in designing and managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters with advanced networking and hybrid/cloud connectivity. Networking : In-depth understanding of Azure networking features, including VNET Peering , Private Link , ExpressRoute , Application Gateway , and WAF . Security : Proven experience designing secure cloud environments with Zero Trust Architecture , Azure Security Center , Azure Key Vault , and other security features. CI/CD : Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps , GitHub Actions , or Jenkins , with a focus on infrastructure automation. Cloud Cost Management : Experience with Azure Cost Management , cost optimization strategies, and FinOps . Scripting Automation : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash , PowerShell , or Python to automate tasks and configurations. Multi-Cloud Integration : Experience working in multi-cloud environments, integrating services from both Azure and AWS as part of hybrid cloud architectures. Cloud Monitoring Troubleshooting : Familiarity with tools like Azure Monitor , Prometheus , Grafana , and Log Analytics for monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Cost Optimization (FinOps): Strong knowledge of Azure Cost Management and cloud financial governance. Qualifications: Bacheloror MasterDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, preferably focused on Azure and Kubernetes-based infrastructure. Strong understanding of containerization , orchestration , and microservices architecture .
