You should be proficient in using Solid Works for designing sheet wood and sheet metal components, including part modeling, assembly, and technical drawing creation. Additionally, you should have CAD proficiency with skills in AutoCAD, Archi CAD, and ZWCAD for detailed drafting and architectural/mechanical design applications. Experience in using ArtCAM for CNC machining and artistic CAD/CAM applications, including relief modeling and toolpath generation is also required. Your educational background should include a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a closely related technical field. Practical experience in applying DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles to streamline production processes and reduce costs is preferred.
