Job Purpose To perform operational and analytical tasks related to 401(k) / Defined Contribution plan administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality in all deliverables. Key Responsibilities Technical Responsibilities Perform administrative functions for Defined Contribution (DC) plans in accordance with plan provisions and regulations. Maintain and update participant census and plan data. Calculate plan contributions such as Profit Sharing, Matching, Safe Harbor Match, and Safe Harbor Non-Elective contributions. Conduct compliance testing, including Non-Discrimination, Top-Heavy, Coverage, and Compensation tests. Handle trust accounting, reconciliations, participant loans, and distribution transactions. Identify receivables and calculate investment gains/losses. Assist in preparing and reviewing Form 5500 and related schedules. Research plan data discrepancies and draft client queries where required. Operational Responsibilities Support team members during peak workloads to achieve team goals. Review and validate plan calculations and reports for accuracy. Identify and resolve processing or data issues through research and documentation. Prepare periodic reports and summaries of findings for internal and client review. Maintain high quality standards and compliance with internal policies. Continuously enhance process knowledge through training and learning opportunities. Contribute to improving efficiency and accuracy in plan administration processes. Required Qualifications B.Com., M.Com., CA, ICWA, B.Sc./M.Sc. (Mathematics or Statistics) Strong operational knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Required Experience 2–4 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Defined Contribution / 401(k) plan administration, preferably on a Balance Forward platform.
