Job Title: CA- Finance Lead Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Permanent Job Summary: Our client is looking for a Finance Manager (CA) to set up and manage the finance function end-to-end for a growing start-up. The ideal candidate will have experience in building financial processes, compliance frameworks, and financial reporting structures from scratch. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities: Finance Function Setup & Management: Establish and streamline the finance and accounting function for the organization. Develop financial policies, processes, and internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency. Implement best practices for accounting, reporting, and governance. Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare and manage financial statements, cash flow reports, and budgeting forecasts . Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and cost control to support business decision-making. Work closely with leadership on financial planning and growth strategies. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting: Ensure adherence to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) , GST, TDS, and other regulatory compliances. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and financial filings. Maintain accurate tax records and oversee statutory tax filings. Accounts & Treasury Management: Oversee accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance . Monitor working capital, manage treasury functions, and optimize cash flow. Handle banking relationships and ensure smooth fund management. Investor & Stakeholder Management: Prepare financial reports and investor presentations. Support fundraising efforts, due diligence, and investor communication. Key Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience . Prior experience in setting up finance functions for start-ups or working in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, TDS, and regulatory compliance . Hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting .
