Call for Non-Fiction Filmmakers with Experience in Disability-Centric Storytelling. We are looking for experienced non-fiction filmmakers who have worked closely with individuals with disabilities and have a deep understanding of disability-related narratives. Role & Responsibilities: Selected filmmakers will mentor a group of emerging, non-disabled filmmakers in the art of capturing powerful stories of individuals with disabilities. The focus will be on creating short, non-fiction films that highlight personal journeys of resilience, self-empowerment, and social change led by persons with disabilities. Qualifications Who Should Apply: Filmmakers with a strong background in non-fiction storytelling Demonstrated experience working with persons with disabilities Deep sensitivity and understanding of the unique needs and considerations involved in filming individuals with disabilities A commitment to ethical, inclusive, and respectful representation Your expertise will help shape a new generation of storytellers who can document and share stories of change that truly matter.
