Job Description – AccountantPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage our company’s financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books, preparing reports, and supporting management in financial decision-making. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update day-to-day accounting records (ledgers, journals, vouchers). Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and payment vouchers. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and handle cash flow management. Prepare GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Monitor expenses and budget utilization. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments on financial matters. Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (CA Inter or equivalent preferred). Proven work experience as an Accountant (3–5 years minimum). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian taxation (GST, TDS, etc.). Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
