As an AI Backend Engineer, you'll design, develop, and optimize the backend infrastructure that powers our AI-driven wellness platform. You'll work on integrating machine learning models with scalable APIs, ensuring seamless data flows for user dashboards, and building features that turn raw health metrics into actionable insights. This role requires a strong blend of backend engineering expertise and AI proficiency to handle high-scale, secure data processing in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Architect and implement scalable backend services using languages like Python, Node.js, or Go, with a focus on AI model deployment and integration. Develop APIs and microservices for handling health data ingestion (e.g., from BCA machines), processing, and real-time syncing to user dashboards. Integrate AI/ML models for features like predictive health analytics, personalized recommendations (e.g., activity suggestions based on metrics), and anomaly detection in wellness data. Optimize data pipelines for efficiency, ensuring low-latency responses for large-scale employee metrics uploads and queries. Collaborate with frontend teams, data scientists, and product managers to build secure, compliant systems (e.g., GDPR/HIPAA considerations for health data). Implement monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms to maintain system reliability at scale. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to agile development processes. Experiment with emerging AI technologies to enhance platform capabilities, such as natural language processing for consultation bots or computer vision for device integrations.
