Fellowship AI Director

Kuku AI Studio is building a large-scale AI-native microdrama production house, creating short-form shows for

millions of viewers. We are looking for creative individuals who are excited about visual storytelling,

filmmaking, content creation, and AI and want to explore AI as a new creative medium.

About the Role

As an AI Director, you will work closely with an AI Architect to create complete microdrama episodes using

AI-powered video, image, and audio generation tools.

You will own the creative and visual direction - framing, composition, lighting, pacing, emotional impact, and

overall visual quality - while your AI Architect partner handles the technical execution and generation pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate scripts and story briefs into strong visual concepts and AI prompts.
• Drive the visual style, framing, pacing, cuts, and emotional flow of each episode.
• Review and iterate on AI-generated output to achieve the desired creative quality.
• Create engaging short-form stories with strong hooks and cliffhanger endings.
• Experiment with AI video, image, and audio generation tools.
• Contribute creative ideas, prompts, and learnings to the wider team.

What We're Looking For

• Graduates or diploma holders from any discipline with a strong interest in filmmaking, visual

storytelling, content creation, or AI-powered media.

• Candidates from Film, Media, Mass Communication, Literature, Design, Animation, VFX, Creative Writing, and

related creative fields are encouraged to apply, but we are open to candidates from other academic

backgrounds as well.

• Strong creative thinking and an eye for visual storytelling.
• Understanding of engaging short-form and mobile-first content.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and experiment with new AI tools.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• A portfolio, showreel, or examples of creative work would be an advantage.
