Platform & Infrastructure • Improve system scalability, fault tolerance, observability, and deployment workflows. • Partner with DevOps or infrastructure teams to enhance CI/CD, automation, containerization, and monitoring. • Contribute to database modeling, storage strategy, and platform integration patterns. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work with product, UX, analytics, and AI/ML teams to translate requirements into engineering solutions. • Participate in roadmap planning, prioritization, and technical feasibility assessments. • Communicate engineering decisions, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders. Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production systems. • Advanced proficiency in at least one backend development language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Go. • Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable APIs, microservices, or distributed systems. • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), databases, and system design. • Proficiency with Git, testing frameworks, code reviews, and modern development workflows. • Ability to lead projects from concept to deployment with minimal supervision. Preferred • Experience with FastAPI, Node.js, React, Django, or similar frameworks. • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or streaming data pipelines. • Experience working in EdTech, AI-driven applications, or mission-oriented platforms. • Background collaborating with ML or data engineering teams.
