Job Title: LinkedIn Growth and Marketing Specialist Job Type: Consultant Location: International (Remote) About the Role: Farmdar is looking for a LinkedIn Growth & Marketing Specialist to help us use LinkedIn more effectively to reach and influence our ideal decision-makers. This is a strategy role, not an execution role. The specialist will not be responsible for writing posts, designing creatives, or managing the posting calendar. We already have internal/external resources for content creation and posting. The core responsibility of this role is to: Understand our sales plans (by region, customer category, and commercial impact) Understand how LinkedIn’s algorithms and formats work Advise us on what kind of content, angles, and campaigns we should run to reach our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) Review performance on an ongoing basis and recommend adjustments to both organic and paid activity This is ideal for someone who has done LinkedIn-led B2B growth before and can plug into an existing content and sales setup. Responsibilities: 1. Strategy & ICP-to-Content Mapping Review and understand our sales strategy by: Region (markets/countries we are prioritising) Category (customer type, product line, use case) Impact (revenue focus, strategic accounts, key campaigns) Define who we need to reach on LinkedIn: Job titles, seniority levels, functions and roles in the buying committee Translate ICP and sales priorities into clear content directions and themes for our content team, e.g.: Topics, angles, value propositions Recommended formats (carousels, documents, thought-leadership posts, case-study breakdowns, etc.) Provide structured content briefs and guidelines for writers/designers so they know exactly what to produce and why. 2. LinkedIn Algorithm & Best Practices Advisory Stay updated on LinkedIn feed and algorithm behaviour, including: High-performing formats (documents, carousels, text-only posts, video, etc.) Engagement signals that matter (dwell time, comments, saves, reposts, etc.) Recommend post structures and format choices that maximise visibility and engagement among our target decision-makers. Advise on how best to use company and personal profiles (e.g. founders, sales leaders) to support reach and credibility. 3. Campaign & Funnel Design (Organic + Paid) Design LinkedIn-led campaign strategies based on our commercial objectives, such as: Entering new markets Building authority and trust in existing markets Supporting key account outreach and deal acceleration For paid LinkedIn campaigns, provide strategic guidance on: Audience selection and targeting Campaign objectives and structure Creative and messaging directions A/B testing concepts (different hooks, creatives, CTAs, value propositions Align organic posting and paid campaigns so they reinforce each other. 4. Performance Analysis & Recalibration Help define a practical measurement framework for LinkedIn, including: Reach and impressions within target audiences Engagement (reactions, comments, shares, saves, click-throughs) Lead/conversation quality and, where possible, contribution to pipeline Conduct regular performance reviews (e.g. monthly or per campaign) to identify: Which content types and themes perform best with our ICPs Which formats and angles underperform and should be reduced or changed Provide clear, actionable recommendations for: What to do more of What to stop doing What to test next (topics, formats, hooks, audiences) 5. Collaboration with Internal Teams Work closely with: Sales / Commercial teams to ensure content strategy supports real pipeline needs. Content writers and designers to brief them and review whether planned content aligns with strategic guidance. Leadership / Founders to align their personal LinkedIn presence with company positioning and campaigns. Give feedback on drafts and concepts from a strategic perspective (fit for ICP, clarity of message, alignment with LinkedIn best practices). Engagement Model: Part-time / Fractional / Consultant, not a full-time role. Expected involvement could include: Initial strategy and setup phase (e.g. 4–6 weeks of more intensive work) Ongoing retainer with a fixed number of hours per week or days per month for: Performance reviews Strategy refinements Briefing and feedback sessions with sales and content teams (Specific hours and structure to be finalised based on mutual agreement.) Requirements: 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, growth marketing, or digital strategy with a strong focus on LinkedIn. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing LinkedIn strategies that led to: Inbound leads from target customers Meetings booked with decision-makers Pipeline influence or direct revenue impact Deep understanding of: How LinkedIn’s feed and algorithms work Which formats, hooks, and narratives work best for senior decision-makers in a B2B context Strong analytical skills: Able to interpret LinkedIn and campaign analytics Comfortable turning data into clear recommendations and next steps Experience working with technical or niche products (e.g. SaaS, AI, industrial, agritech, finance, etc.) is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to advise, challenge, and guide stakeholders rather than simply execute instructions. Comfortable working in a consulting / fractional setup with clear deliverables and regular check-ins. Success Measures (First 3–6 Months): A clear LinkedIn strategy aligned with regional and category-wise sales priorities. Defined ICP profiles and content themes targeted at the right decision-makers. Noticeable improvement in: Quality of engagement (who is interacting, not just how many) Inbound interest and relevant conversations from LinkedIn A more structured, data-driven approach to what we publish on LinkedIn and why, with regular learnings informing future content.
