Reports to : Directors Location: Bangalore Joining Period : ASAP Key Responsibilities: a. Develop and manage relationships with government agencies involved in the procurement of medical equipment, providing technical expertise, and delivering compelling solutions. b. Understanding clinical principles and product usage. c. Understanding and explaining product benefits to clinicians and nurses. d. Sourcing new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. e. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products. f. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. g. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions and conferences. h. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections. i. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' activities. j. Provide regular reports on sales activities and outcomes. k. The candidate would be expected to travel extensively. Key Competencies a. Skills - Good proficiency in Sales and developing relationships with key stakeholders. b. Knowledge Good understanding of the government hospital procurement machinery. c. Knowledge Good understanding of life sciences. d. Knowledge Conversant knowledge about microbiology. e. Attributes Problem solving attitude f. Attributes Self-driven with sense of responsibility Background & Education Science Graduate with an understanding of life sciences,1 with prior experience in medical sales of at least 5 years, with at least 2 -3 years of experience in selling to government hospitals. Requirement : B-Pharma/ Biomedical Engineer/ Bsc . Microbiology/ Bsc . Biotechnology/ Bsc . Zoology/ Bsc . Botany Preferred : Msc . Microbiology/ Msc . Biotechnology / Msc . Zoology/ Msc . Botany.
