Role & responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, financial dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Analyze revenue, margins, manufacturing costs, and business performance trends.
• Support monthly business reviews and leadership presentations.
• Contribute to annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
• Partner with plant and functional teams to validate financial assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop financial models for scenario planning and business performance analysis.
• Manage or support plant financial controlling, including revenue, profitability, operating costs, and financial performance.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, production expenses, overheads, and cost variances.
• Analyze product costing, cost drivers, and margin performance.
• Benchmark plant and product costs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives, productivity improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Validate cost-saving calculations in collaboration with project teams.
• Track productivity KPIs and monitor the financial impact of improvement initiatives.
• Partner with plant operations, commercial, and supply chain teams to support business decisions.
• Provide financial insights for pricing, margins, investments, and cost-benefit assessments.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and finance policies.
• Support audits through reconciliations, financial documentation, and data analysis.
• Maintain financial dashboards and improve reporting accuracy, standardization, and automation.
• Collaborate with finance shared services and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to streamline processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, in Finance preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Plant Controlling, Costing, or Manufacturing Finance.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, plant financials, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Experience supporting or managing a manufacturing plant with annual revenue exceeding 2,000 crore.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.

• currently working in

  Plant Controlling, Plant Finance, Manufacturing Finance, or FP&A

  roles within manufacturing organizations.
• Professionals with a combination of plant-level financial responsibility, budgeting and forecasting, product costing, and profitability analysis.
• Candidates with experience supporting or managing manufacturing plants with annual revenue exceeding 2,000 crore.
• Candidates from large-scale automotive, electrical and electronics, industrial automation, engineering, or capital goods manufacturing organizations.
• Professionals with exposure to plant operations, production costs, cost optimization, productivity improvement, and business partnering.
