Data Architect – Microsoft Fabric

Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days in office)
Engagement: Contract-to-Hire (Initial 6 months)

Location: India initially, with mandatory relocation to the UK after 6 months, subject to performance and hiring approval.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures for enterprise data and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data architectures using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop data models, data pipelines, and data flow diagrams.
• Define data integration, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data management strategies.
• Optimize data storage, processing, and query performance.
• Ensure data quality, security, integrity, and availability.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable architecture solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Maintain architecture documentation and follow data architecture best practices.

Mandatory Requirements

• 12+ years of overall IT/data engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric Architecture with practical implementation experience.
• Strong background in data engineering, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and enterprise data architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Education: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech only. BCA, MCA, MSc, B.Com and other non-engineering qualifications are not eligible.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure data services and other big data technologies.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Data Engineer.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving architecture-level decisions.

Contract & Relocation Conditions

• Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of conversion to permanent employment based on performance and hiring approval.
• Mandatory UK relocation after 6 months for candidates selected for permanent employment.
• Visa sponsorship will be provided.
• Candidates must be willing to relocate to the UK and should not be submitted if they are unwilling to relocate.
• Continued employment and conversion are subject to performance and business requirements.

Pay: Up to ₹250,000.00 per month
