About the Role: As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product and production lifecycle from sourcing and development to production execution and timely delivery. You will work closely with Design, Production, and Vendor partners to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and smooth launches of collections. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Source fabrics, trims, raw materials, and accessories in collaboration with Design and Production teams. Coordinate and communicate with local and regional vendors for sampling, quotations, MOQs, lead times, and production follow-ups. Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining quality. Calculate and track product and production costs; ensure adherence to budgets. Manage production schedules, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery. Establish and communicate quality standards and specifications to vendors. Maintain a structured fabric library with details on pricing, colors, and timelines. Support smooth collection launches by coordinating with cross-functional teams. Identify and resolve production or sourcing issues proactively to minimize delays. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with vendors and manufacturers. Stay updated on market trends, fabrics, and customer preferences. Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: 2-5 years of merchandising experience in Export Houses or Retail/E-commerce companies. Educational background in Fashion, Textile, or Merchandising. Strong knowledge of sourcing, fabrics, trims, and merchandising systems. Experience handling merchandising and production for Knits and Wovens (preferred). Understanding of Indian pattern making and garment fits. Proficiency in MS Excel for costing, tracking, and analysis. Excellent communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven.

About the role As a Fabric Sourcing Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of our fabric processes. You will be responsible for managing the production cycle from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products, meeting quality standards, cost-efficiency goals, and timelines. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Identify and collaborate with suppliers to source raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to optimize costs. Calculate production costs, monitor expenses, and maintain budget adherence. Ensure cost-efficiency while delivering high-quality products. Establish and communicate clear quality standards and specifications to suppliers. Develop production schedules, coordinate activities, and set delivery deadlines. Keep stakeholders informed of production progress, challenges, and solutions. Identify and address production-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Implement inventory control measures to streamline operations. Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and long-term partnerships. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience should be in the range of 4-7 years in Export Houses /Retail companies A background in fabric sourcing across India and other countries like China, Vietnam, etc is essential to excel in this role Should possess good knowledge of Merchandising systems, Sourcing and Fabric knowledge, and tests. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a prerequisite for efficient data management and analysis Preferably Should have handled sourcing & production of both Knits and Woven in small and large qtys. Great communication skills are a must Should be a go-getter with a never-say-die attitude Preference shall be given to those having a Retail / E-Commerce background
