Ensure continuous supply of materials to meet production schedules and overall operational needs. Optimize inventory levels to minimize investment without compromising safety or operational efficiency. Plan and control material resources to prevent shortages, overstocking, and obsolescence. Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for critical and regular purchases. Foster long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery. Procure materials at the most competitive prices without compromising on quality. Maintain and enforce quality standards based on material suitability and performance requirements. Avoid duplication and waste in the purchasing process. Ensure all Purchase Orders (POs) include terms and conditions that comply with Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) standards. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, vendor evaluations, and supplier performance. Provide regular reports on procurement status, cost savings, and supply chain risks.
