As a Backend Developer at EXPLIoT, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend systems using Node.js. Your primary focus will be on building and integrating RESTful APIs to ensure seamless interaction with front-end applications and other microservices. You will work with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases to handle data efficiently. Your role will involve implementing security measures such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and other protocols to protect applications from vulnerabilities and attacks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement technical solutions will be essential. You will also be expected to actively participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge and improving team practices. In addition to backend development tasks, you will also be responsible for managing containerized applications using Docker and deploying services in Kubernetes clusters.
