Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Manager, located in Gurgaon. The Freight Manager will handle day-to-day operations related to export and import logistics, ensuring smooth freight forwarding processes, managing ocean freight logistics, and coordinating with customers to provide excellent customer service. The role includes overseeing import/export documentation, liaising with customs and shipping partners, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end sales and purchase operations within the supply chain finance domain. Identify and onboard new clients, vendors, and financial partners for business growth. Collaborate with clients structure and execute financing solutions for suppliers and buyers. Negotiate terms and rates with vendors and financial institutions to ensure cost efficiency and profitability. Oversee purchase orders, vendor payments, and credit cycles to ensure smooth cash flow. Maintain strong relationships with lenders, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline operations. Prepare and analyze MIS reports, track performance, and ensure compliance with internal policies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration. 3–7 years of relevant experience in Sales, Purchase, or Supply Chain Finance, preferably in a Bank or NBFC. Strong understanding of trade finance, vendor financing, and credit assessment. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial documentation. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines. Preferred Background: Prior experience in supply chain finance sales or corporate/vendor onboarding. Exposure to channel financing, bill discounting, or invoice-based funding. Understanding of procurement and purchase cycle management.
