1. Job Purpose

• Experience Bracket:

  Entry to Early-Career (Up to 2 years of intensive, hands-on experience in high-volume payroll data operations, mass compensation structuring, or core backend HR analytics).

• Core Education:

  Graduate or Post-Graduate degree with an exceptionally strong mathematical or logical foundation (e.g., B.Sc. IT, BCA, B.Com with advanced analytics, or equivalent data-heavy backgrounds).

4. Principal Accountabilities & Supporting Actions

• Supporting Actions:

• Construct global, scalable Excel master sheets to calculate entire Cost-To-Company (CTC) break-ups (Basic, HRA, Allowances, Retirals) for thousands of employees simultaneously.
• Build dynamic salary models where changing a single macro-variable (e.g., an updated minimum wage threshold or basic salary percentage) instantly recalibrates the entire population's downstream components accurately.
• Implement high-performance lookup and array frameworks (XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH) to pull data across multi-variant business unit tables without straining system memory.

Accountability 2: Compport Ingestion, Hygiene, & Validation Controls

• Supporting Actions:

• Own the pre-upload data scrubbing, data normalization, and formatting of massive payroll sheets to ensure seamless, error-free uploads into the

  Compport SaaS platform

• Engineer dedicated "Audit & Control" columns in every workbook using conditional rules to flags any structural variances, negative components, rounding leaks, or out-of-bound CTCs instantly before execution.
• Manage mass data transformation pipelines, mapping diverse legacy salary formats into unified, upload-ready standardized configurations required by the Compport data schema.

Accountability 3: Statutory Logic Integration & Platform Sync (PF & Benefit Automation)

• Supporting Actions:

• Program complex, conditional statutory formulas into employee data sheetsmost notably Provident Fund (PF) rules (e.g., automating choices between the standard 15,000 cap, actual basic contribution, or VPF rules via nested MIN/MAX logic).
• Translate variable corporate incentive frameworks, multi-tiered performance bonus structures, and commission matrices into scalable, clean Excel logic blocks before syncing with the cloud compensation environment.
• Generate macro-driven reconciliation summaries that compare old vs. new salary increments across various businesses to provide finance teams with immediate budget impact visibility.

5. Key Internal Relationships

• Reporting Manager (Team Manager):

  Daily interaction to align on mass data processing timelines, review data validation audits, and sign off on verified master upload files.

• Payroll & HR Tech Interface Teams:

  Close coordination to ensure that Excel mass upload structures perfectly map with the technical data schemas of the

  Compport platform

  and backend ERP loaders.

• Business HR Partners / COEs:

  Need-based engagement to collect customized salary revision rule books, localized allowances, or exceptional business-unit compensation guidelines.
