Job Description – Executive – Logistics & Material Planning

Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: Supply Chain HeadExperience: 4–5 years preferred

Role Purpose

To coordinate daily logistics activities, including dispatches, transportation, and material movement, while supporting material planning, material availability, and order follow-ups to ensure smooth and timely operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Arrange and track transportation for inter-branch transfers, port-to-warehouse movements, and other material movements.

2. Coordinate container booking, vehicle arrangements, and dispatch schedules for outsourced units.

3. Coordinate with Stores and the loading team to ensure material availability and dispatch readiness.

4. Coordinate with Accounts for required dispatch documents, including invoices, e-way bills, and packing lists.

5. Verify material loading and share dispatch and container details with outsourcing units.

6. Track finished goods dispatches from outsourcing units and confirm dispatch status.

7. Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and concerned departments to resolve daily logistics issues.

8. Update material planning, order status, and related records in Excel/ERP.

9. Coordinate local sub-assembly arrangements after material receipt.

10. Follow up on material requirements and pending issues with outsourcing units.

11. Maintain daily records of material availability, pending orders, shipments, dispatches, and deliveries.

12. Coordinate with Stores, QC, Accounts, vendors, transporters, and other concerned teams to ensure timely completion of daily activities.

13. Follow up on pending dispatches and deliveries, maintain shipment status, and promptly report delays to the Supply Chain Head.

Candidate Profile

· Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Operations, or any relevant discipline.

· 2–4 years of hands-on experience in logistics, dispatch coordination, transportation, and material follow-up in a manufacturing environment.

· Good working knowledge of Excel; ERP experience preferred.

· Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.

· Experience in electronic/electrical manufacturing is preferred.

Salary Range: 25 to 35 CTC

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
