Role & responsibilities

• Month-End/Year-End Closure:

  Prioritize candidates with hands-on experience in month-end and year-end book closure, General Ledger (GL)/Trial Balance (TB) review, and passing closure and adjustment entries.

• Ind-AS Expertise:

  Practical, hands-on experience with Ind-AS accounting is mandatory. Avoid candidates with exposure limited to US GAAP, IFRS, or other GAAP frameworks, as well as those with only theoretical knowledge or Ind-AS certifications.

• Financial Statement Preparation:

  Candidates must have been directly involved in preparing standalone and/or consolidated financial statements, rather than handling only financial reporting or MIS activities.

• ERP Exposure:

  SAP experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with Oracle or other comparable enterprise ERP experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong technical accounting and closure expertise.

• Audit & Compliance:

  Look for experience in statutory and/or internal audit closure, preparation of audit schedules and workpapers, and coordination with external and internal auditors.

• Additional Skills:

  Exposure to GST, TDS, account reconciliations, MIS preparation, and Advanced Excel will be preferred.

• Educational Qualifications:

  Target CA Inter/Semi-qualified CA, MBA Finance, M.Com, and B.Com candidates. Do not consider fully qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs).
