Responsibilities: * Create technical drawings using AutoCAD software. * Prepare mechanical designs for construction. * Collaborate with project team on elevator installations. * Design lifts and draft equipment layouts.
Design and draft technical drawings: Create detailed technical drawings for elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems, including layouts, machine rooms, and component assemblies. Utilize specialized software: Proficiently use Digipara Lift Designer to automate drawings, create BIM models, and configure complex 3D lift models based on project parameters. Create manufacturing plans: Use AutoCAD to develop manufacturing drawings for individual components and assemblies, including steelwork required for lift installation. Collaborate with teams: Work with engineers, architects, project managers, and factory personnel to incorporate design specifications, revise drawings based on feedback, and ensure accuracy. Ensure compliance: Verify that all designs and drawings adhere to industry standards (e.g., EN-81, ASME A17), building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications. Manage project documentation: Maintain a systematic and organized record of all drawings, revisions, bills of materials (BOMs), and other project-related technical documentation. Provide technical support: Assist site installation teams by providing detailed drawings and clarification to ensure designs are executed correctly.
