Key Responsibilities Design press tools / dies / molds / fixtures using Siemens NX Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings Interpret component drawings, customer data, and specifications Perform tool feasibility and design optimization for manufacturability Coordinate with tool room, production, and machining teams Prepare BOM, strip layouts, tool layouts, and GA drawings Modify designs based on trial feedback and production issues Ensure designs comply with quality standards and safety norms Maintain proper design documentation and revision control Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical or Tool Engineering 2–5 years experience in tool design (freshers with strong NX skills may apply) Strong working knowledge of Siemens NX (Modeling, Drafting, Assembly) Good understanding of tool making processes, materials, and tolerances Knowledge of press tools / mold design / die design (as applicable) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining Preferred SkillsExperience in automotive or industrial tool rooms Exposure to try-out, tool corrections, and production support Knowledge of GD&T Good communication and coordination skills Key AttributesAttention to detail Problem-solving mindset Ability to work under deadlines Team player with practical approach
