ETL Tester

As an ETL Tester at Virtusa, you will be responsible for examining business needs to determine the testing technique by automation testing. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the present regression suites and test scripts. Your participation in agile meetings for backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily scrum meetings is essential. Executing regression suites and providing results to various stakeholders, including developers and project managers, will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will be involved in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes. Validating data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows accurately is a key aspect of your role. Analyzing test results and presenting detailed reports to stakeholders will help in continuous improvement. Automation of repetitive testing tasks to enhance efficiency will be an important focus area. A strong foundation in SQL is necessary to validate the transformations effectively. Working in AWS Workflows and Cloud services may also be required. Your secondary skills in Python Basics, QA Testing with Automation, and Data warehousing will be beneficial in performing the job effectively.
