Job Description – Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Location: India (Remote/Hybrid) Investment Budget: ₹10 Lakh Role Type: Leadership | Full-Time | Growth-Oriented About the Role We are looking for a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who can take full ownership of building and scaling our brand from the ground up. You will be responsible for designing high-impact marketing strategies, optimizing the use of a ₹10 lakh investment budget, and driving measurable growth across digital channels, demand generation, and brand positioning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, understands ROI-driven marketing, and can convert small budgets into big results. Key Responsibilities 1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute a 360° marketing strategy aligned with business goals. Plan and prioritize campaigns to maximize the ₹10 lakh investment . Build brand positioning, messaging, and communication frameworks. Lead the marketing team, agencies, and freelancers as needed. 2. Performance & Digital Marketing Create ROI-driven campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, and SEO. Launch data-driven funnels for acquisition, engagement, and retention. Monitor CPL, CAC, ROI, and performance dashboards. 3. Product & Brand Growth Define brand guidelines, tone, and storytelling frameworks. Work closely with product and sales to ensure market-fit messaging. Lead GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy for product launches. 4. Market Research & Customer Insights Analyze market trends, competitor insights, and industry benchmarks. Use analytics to refine targeting, segmentation, and positioning. 5. Budget Management (₹10 Lakh Investment) Strategically allocate the ₹10 lakh budget across digital, branding, content, and growth experiments. Ensure cost efficiency and maximum ROI from every rupee spent. Track budgets, vendor costs, and campaign effectiveness. 6. Team Building & Leadership Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Collaborate with senior leadership for long-term scalability and investor expectations. Required Skills & Qualifications 5–12 years of marketing experience; at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong experience with digital marketing, growth, branding, and analytics . Proven track record of scaling a product or startup with limited budgets . Deep understanding of performance marketing , funnels, and automation. Excellent communication, storytelling, and decision-making skills. Experience working with SaaS, product-based, HR-tech, or consumer platforms (preferred).
