As a Jr. Breeder , you will relish using your creativity and innovative thinking to develop new ideas and solutions by exploring the latest scientific knowledge and technologies in tomato breeding. Your responsibilities will include Assisting in all activities of the tomato breeding project, translating set breeding targets into an operational breeding plan, and preparing for all activities of the breeding project. You will also assist in making the right plant and line selections at critical moments in the breeding cycle and maintaining detailed records throughout the breeding cycles. You will be involved in decision-making to advance material to R2, planning trial productions, and screening trials. Additionally, you will assist or be involved in implementing developed technology and traits in the breeding program. As a future colleague at Enza Zaden India Pvt. Ltd, you bring at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a tomato breeding program. You hold an M.Sc (Genetics & Plant Breeding) qualification from a reputed agriculture university in India Based in and around Bangalore.
