Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Environmental Specialist, based in Kolkata. The role involves overseeing environmental compliance, conducting assessments, developing policies, and implementing health and safety practices. The Senior Environmental Specialist will be responsible for communicating findings, preparing reports, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards. The role demands expertise in aligning projects with regulatory frameworks and delivering client-focused solutions. Qualifications Expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental Compliance Deep understanding of Environmental Science and Environmental Policy Strong Communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively Familiarity with ESIA, ESG, ESDD, and EHS audits Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on compliance with national and international standards Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently manage projects Strong organizational and analytical skills
