Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation including specification sheets, procedures and technical manuals
• Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely updates for all engineering projects
• Support engineering teams by organizing and controlling technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate data entry and updates in ERP systems (SAP) for materials, components, and assemblies
• Assist in preparing and releasing engineering change notices (ECNs) and ensure proper documentation flow
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure documentation aligns with design and production requirements
• Monitor and maintain version control for engineering documents and ensure compliance with company standards
• Generate reports and dashboards from SAP to support project tracking and decision-making
• Provide administrative support for engineering processes, including scheduling, file management, and record keeping.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for BOM management and material data
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing technical documentation
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and basic understanding of mechanical/electrical components
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills preferred
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering support or administrative role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
