Job Description


  • Procure engineering spares, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utility, and maintenance items.
  • Manage procurement activities for plant expansion, brownfield, and greenfield projects.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for engineering materials and services.
  • Obtain quotations, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase orders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid disruption of plant operations and project schedules.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of critical spares and consumables.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Projects, Stores, Finance, and Vendors for seamless procurement activities.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
  • Prepare comparative statements, purchase orders, and procurement reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation requirements.
  • Support vendor audits and performance evaluations.
