Pure Storage is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee the Tools & Frameworks Team within the Observability & Reliability Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and scaling the automated test infrastructure for all-flash storage solutions. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong passion for enhancing efficiency, streamlining build-test pipelines, and driving faster development cycles. As an Engineering Manager at Pure Storage, you will lead a team of talented software engineers based in Bangalore to improve build-test pipelines for faster feature delivery. Collaboration with global teams, product management, feature teams, and release teams will be essential to optimize automation strategies. You will work closely with key stakeholders across multiple global locations, including Bangalore, Prague, and Santa Clara HQ, to drive automation strategies that seamlessly integrate into CI/CD workflows. Your responsibilities will include addressing test flakiness, enhancing pipeline stability, and improving test determinism to reduce delays in feature rollouts. Leading by example, you will actively contribute to design, development, debugging, and ensuring robust development pipelines. Additionally, you will mentor and develop engineers to foster technical excellence and career growth while defining and leveraging key metrics to refine automation processes. To excel in this role, you should possess a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with at least 3 years of technical management experience and 10+ years of software development experience in Python, Golang, or similar languages. Your proven expertise in managing projects throughout the software development lifecycle, automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable build-test automation will be critical. Experience in troubleshooting complex automation systems and fostering collaboration across software and Hardware teams is highly valued.
