Engineer/ Sr. Engineer - Production (Plastic Injection Moulding)

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Plan production activities, including setting daily targets and monitoring progress. Oversee shift planning, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting quality standards. Supervise production operations on the shop floor, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain management and timely delivery of products. Monitor productivity levels, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time reduction, defect rate reduction, etc. Desired Candidate Profile 5-10 years of experience in plastic injection molding industry with a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Strong understanding of manpower handling, shift planning, daily production planning, production supervising, production management, and shop floor control principles. Proven track record of improving productivity through process optimization techniques like Lean Manufacturing/TPM/6 Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
